Bus
It's really easy to travel in Dorset by bus. Visit the Traveline South West website to help plan your car free trip around Dorset. The Jurassic Coast Bus Service is ideal for walkers who want to walk a section of the coast path, as you have the option of travelling out or back by bus. The Dorset Attractions and Rural Tour (DART) service picks up throughout Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch providing a direct service to the most popular local visitor attractions. Park and Ride
Take the hassle out of your trip by using a park and ride service.

Dorchester Park and Ride operates weekdays costing £1 per day. Park at Dorchester Football Stadium and be collected from Dorchester Library at the top of town.

Norden Park and Ride near Corfe Castle costs £3 per day where you can catch the Swanage Railway direct to Corfe Castle or Swanage.

The brand new Mount Pleasant Park and Ride site in Weymouth runs services into both Weymouth Town Centre and Dorchester. The costs range from £1.50 in low season to £3.50 in peak season.

Train
There are several train stations in Dorset including Christchurch, Dorchester, Sherborne, Wareham and Weymouth as well as several local stations. Visit the National Rail website for more information. Swanage Railway journeys through the most scenic Dorset countryside travelling to Corfe Castle.

Taxis are available from train stations and airports as well as towns and villages.
