Two converted barns, situated on the edge of Chickerell, Weymouth. Dorset. Both have a four star rating in addition to the Barns accessibility grading of M2.
Within minutes you can be enjoying the Jurassic coastline. There are many enjoyable walks alongside the fleet lagoon and Chesil Beach. We’re just three miles away from the popular seaside resort of Weymouth and its many attractions, beach and picturesque harbour. A few minutes drive to Portland’s Olympic Sailing Academy. Abbotsbury and Dorchester also being close by, you will find us an excellent touring base to discover so much of our wonderful coast line and country side.Both cottages are within the grounds of the owner’s home. The Stables is an extremely spacious cottage, with its large open plan kitchen/lounge/dinner. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom and bathroom. On the first floor you will find the main bedroom with en suite shower room. Parking is directly outside the cottage within the courtyard.The Barn has an open plan kitchen/lounge/dinner with views toward the fleet lagoon. Also on the ground floor you will find a twin bedroom and wet room. On the first floor you will find a second lounge view even better views, the main bedroom with en suite bathroom incl large corner bath.For those who find stairs more challenging, both cottages are ideal,with the barns added benefit of a wet room.Both cottges are fully fitted with electric cookers, gas hobs, fridge/freezers, microwave, toasters, washing machine, tumble dryers, colour TV’s, radio and cd players. They are gas central heated and all gas, electric and bedding is included in the rent.Close by you will find a great selection of local pubs and restaurants, well as a Chinese takeaway; we have a local shop/newsagent/post office just across the road. A little further away you will find great local bakery and a Tesco Express.
