Oaklands was built in 1902 and the front of the house bears a plaque commemorating the coronation of King Edward VII. The house is located in a quiet avenue, only a few minutes walk from the beach. We are ten minutes walk from the station.
For breakfast we offer local produce wherever we can which includes sausages and eggs from the farm down the road and bacon from Bere Regis. We are happy to cater for special diets.
We offer short break options, and this is especially appealing to walkers, in particular explorers of the South West Coast Path. We can provide a free laundry and drying service and offer a packed lunch at a competitive cost.
